What’s On

Christians are called to grow into maturity in Christ, but none of us are there yet.
There are weak & strong Christians and a lot in between. What is a weak Christian? What is a Strong Christian? How are they to relate to one another?
Join us this Sunday as we look at Romans 14 and ask, “Am I the Weaker Brother?”.

When giving thanks, it is easy for us to focus upon the blessings we receive in this world . It is right that we should be grateful for these things. However, anything we receive in this world cannot be compared with the spiritual blessings we receive in Christ. Only as we focus on them will we be able to persevere and live the life God calls us to.
Join us this Sunday as we look at “Thankful for What?”

“We are asked to be subject to those who rule over us. This is not an isolated command. The whole of the Christian life is one of submission to authority. Yet we rebel at the very sound of the word submit, especially when it is applied to other human beings. Only when we have a very big God will we be able to submit to him as he directs us and submit to other”Please Join us this Sunday at 9:00 am as Phil talks about “How Big is Your God?”.

Knowing Christ transforms religion and transforms worship because it transforms our humanity. Our worship is to offer our whole lives as holy to the Lord. This can only happen as we renew our minds and grow into the image of Christ rather than allow this age to mold us to its values.

This week we look at Romans 11 to explore the purposes and the plan of God.
“Who has known the mind of the Lord? Or who has been his counsellor?” “Who has ever given to God, that God should repay him?” For from him and through him and to him are all things. To him be the glory for ever! Amen. (Rom. 11:34-36 NIV)

This Sunday we will explore Romans 9:30 to 10:21 and see why it was so hard for the Jews to receive the Gospel.God’s promises have not failed. Receiving the righteousness from God is simple but it is not always easy.

The hardest thing for us to do is let God be God. We want to be able to approve or disapprove of his plans. Join us this Sunday as we look at Romans 9 to see the sovereign plan of God, to have a people of his own.

Join us this Sunday as Stuart Atkinson opens up Philippians 2 and challenges us to be like minded people and to have the same attitude as Jesus, and humbly put the interests of others and Jesus first

If God is for us, who can be against us?Join us this Sunday as we look at Romans 8:28-39 and Neil Hunt reminds us that “If God is for us, who can be against us?”

Christians have the Spirit of God.
But what does living by the Spirit of God look like.Join us this week as we look at Romans 8 to learn about and embrace Spiritual Living.
